Opportunities in Aquaculture will be held at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute at Florida Atlantic University, Fort Pierce, FL on May 7-8 and August 13-14, 2009. This introductory workshop answers fundamental start-up questions for molluscan, fish, and crustacean aquaculture ventures. Topics covered include marketing and production, licensing, regulations, and best management practices. Aquaculture is experienced through lectures and behind-the-scenes tours.
